The Damböckhaus was built in 1872 by the cattle drovers of Puchberg. It has belonged to the Austrian Tourist Club since 1898. The inn is run by the Zottl family in their own inimitable stlye. Their hospitality and the convivial atmosphere are now just as renowned as the outdoor dining area and the lentil and bacon stew with dumplings.
