• Only parents - (including step, adoptive and foster parents) and their children under 15 are entitled to this concession.
• The minimum no. of participants to be eligible for this concession: 1 parent + 1 child or 1 grandparent + 1 grandchild
• Children under six years of age travel free of charge, provided that the remaining family members make up the required minimum number of paying passengers, and the child under six does not require his/her own seat. Only one infant/toddler per parent can travel free of charge, however.
• All family members must participate in the same tour.

In the mood for a circular walk? In that case the summit ticket is just what you need...

Start/ Finish: Puchberg railway station (Total duration: 6 to 8 hours)
Walk via Schauerstein: 3.5 to 4.5 hours 
Walk via Fadensteig: 3 to 4 hours (only for experienced hikers, high-alpine terrain!)

What the summit ticket contains:

• 1 one-way up or downhill tour with the Salamander train
• 1 one-way up or downhill tour with the Salamander chairlift
• 1 food voucher redeemable in the mountain inns to the value of € 7.00
• 1 bus ticket from Puchberg to Losenheim or return

Children: € 19,30 without the food voucher!)

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office at Puchberg station or at the Salamander chairlift station in Losenheim.

• Return journey to the Hochschneeberg, a walk to the highest point in Lower Austria
• From Baumgartner or Hengsthütte stations, with a walking time of approx one hour, take a relaxed hike down in to the valley with views towards Hungary to MARIAS LAND
