Viewpoint Fischerhütte Schneeberg

How do you get there? The Fischerhütte can also be reached via the WAB from the Naturfreundehaus Knofeleben or from the Edelweißhütte on the Schneeberg. From Puchberg, you can hike along the cog railway hiking trail or take the Schneebergbahn and then walk along one of the hiking trails to the Fischerhütte.

Location/view: At 2,049 meters above sea level, the Fischerhütte is Lower Austria's highest mountain hut in the immediate vicinity of the summit of the Klosterwappen. From here you can look out over the Schneeberg plateau and the surrounding mountains and valleys.
