Zahnradbahnmuseum

The rack railway museum is located in the former ÖBB shed at Puchberg station. Here you can admire numerous railway-related exhibits and learn all about the history of the cog railroad up the Schneeberg, which began back in 1872. In the summer months from the beginning of July to the end of September, you can visit the exhibition at weekends and on public holidays. Group visits are also possible on request.

It is best to combine a visit to the exhibition with a ride on the Schneebergbahn up the Schneeberg.
