Alsó-Ausztria legmagasabb hegye, a Bécsi Alpok királya 2076 méterrel emelkedik a környező vidék fölé. A Schneeberg felvonóval Puchberg klimatikus gyógyhelyről juthat el ebbe a hegyi paradicsomba. Háborítatlan természet, kijelölt túraútvonalak és csodálatos kilátás várja Önt! A túra során csodálatos panoráma kíséri Önt, például a Hoher Hengst, a Puchberg-medence és a Steinfeld síksága a Leitha- és a Rosalia-hegységgel, valamint az Arbestal-völgy a kis Rohrbachgraben faluval.

A gasztronómiai csúcspont az 1394 méteres tengerszint feletti magasságban fekvő Baumgartner állomás. Itt ízletes Schneeberg Buchteln-t kóstolhat különböző variációkban.
Gyermekek számára Alsó-Ausztria legmagasabban fekvő alpesi játszótere, 1.800 m tengerszint feletti magasságban, közvetlenül a Hochschneeberg hegyi vasútállomás mellett kínál szórakozást és akciót.

Passing the Empress Elisabeth Memorial Church, the path leads us through extensive pine scrub fields towards Baumgartner Station.
Crossing the cog railway track via the exit of the first hairpin tunnel, we continue through the pine scrub fields to the "Hohe Mauer". On this stone dam, the cog railway crosses the Sitzstetten Ridge. The tree line is also located in this section of the path. Along the railway embankment, we reach Baumgartner Station.
Our hike continues along the railway to the Kaltwassersattel. To the left above the tracks lies the Adolf Kögler House with the Drachenwände cliffs in the background. We turn right and arrive at a large alpine meadow with the Ternitzer Hut and a dairy. Through aromatic coniferous forest, we proceed to Hengst Hut, where we meet the cog railway again. Below its track, we continue hiking towards Hauslitzsattel. Over the Hauslitzsattel, we return to the valley basin of Puchberg am Schneeberg. Passing through the districts Hengsttal and Muthenhof, we reach the town center of Puchberg along the cog railway tracks.
Érkezés
Arrival from Vienna:
Take the South Motorway A2 towards Wiener Neustadt to the Wr. Neustadt West exit. From there, follow Federal Road B26 towards Puchberg am Schneeberg. The route is well signposted.
Arrival from Graz:
Take the South Motorway A2 towards Vienna to the Neunkirchen exit. From there, head towards Ternitz and along Federal Road B26 towards Puchberg am Schneeberg.

Attention: short-term parking zone in the town center
Take the train from Vienna or Graz to Wiener Neustadt. From there, take the regional train towards Puchberg am Schneeberg to the final stop.
Direct excursion train on weekends: Departure at 8:41 a.m. from Vienna Main Station, return at 4:36 p.m. from Puchberg station.
Buses also operate from Neunkirchen, Ternitz (line 350), and Pernitz (line 330) to Puchberg.
